In 2010, Clemens Rumpf created his own label, Deep Village Music / Deep Village Records. Having worked with many independent record labels, he decided now was the time to start a more personal venture.
The idea, behind Deep Village was for Clemens to have a creative output to release fresh, funky, and soulfoul electronic music.
“I wanted to start something new to keep things exciting for me, says Clemens. My plan is to build my own catalog of music.” While I was playing at the clubs, sometimes I would get demos from artists. I ‘d like to be able to release some of their music to support these new artists with material of any style, whether it be: funky, tech, soulful, vocal, instrumental or quality house music”.
